We took a trip to London and visited the Urban Decay flagship store in Covent Garden, which was especially useful for me as they are my chosen brand. We had a demonstration with Danielle Roberts, one of the talented MUA's at the store. Danielle created a beautiful look of a dramatic cut crease eye filled with gold glitter and finished off with fuchsia brows and lips. It was very interesting to learn and will definitely be something I will try and master in the future.
Whalst we were there, I also got a chance to look at the shops interior and how their products were displayed. The interior itself was beautifully done with an eye catching colour combination of silver and purple throughout the shop with ornate mirrors, which goes hand in hand with the decorative packaging of their make-up products. The make-up was neatly arranged on both sides of the shops with clear sections of skin care, prep and primers, foundations, eye make-up, lip colours etc all in their own sections, with their best selling products placed in a display on a table in the centre of the shop to draw the customer towards them. It is a small shop giving the buyer an intimate feel with the make-up artists on hand to help with any questions the buyer may have.
